MEET OUR TEACHERS
MS. LILY
Director
I have rather a long first name so my precious kids call me “Ms. Lily”. While undergoing Montessori training many many moons ago, I fell in love with the Montessori Method of education. This interest paired with my desire to work with young children led me on the path of educating children-our most precious gifts on earth. My son now all grown up had the privilege of benefiting from a Montessori education.
As a parent and an educator I see what a wonderful individual he has transformed into, and I believe that it is in part due to the tender guidance of the Montessori philosophy. I am of the conviction that the Montessori Method of teaching helps to bring out the child’s inner inherent capabilities and natural curiosity. I get immense satisfaction by using the Montessori philosophy as a tool to mold young children and guide them in the right path.
MS. DIANA
Assistant Director/Lead Teacher
I was born and raised in Orange County and in 1980 I started teaching children while I was an ROP student in high school. I received my early childhood educator credentials from Rancho Santiago Community College and Orange Coast Community College. I have almost 40 years as an educator and have worked with al age groups from infants to Pre-K.
Children have the itch to explore and I like to challenge their curiosity with hands on learning and making learning fun. I feel it is a teacher’s job to help your child find their way to self-reliance and independence that is why I am proud of my abilities to potty train.
I am married with two beautiful daughters, one handsome grandson and three gran-dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy taking my chocolate lab Haley to the beach. I also enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, and traveling to new places.
